Zoraya Privacy Policy

Zoraya is a personal timing and reflection app published by REZA FOROUGHI. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Zoraya.

Information handled on your device

Zoraya may process the following information locally on your device:

• Name entered in the app
• Birth date, birth time, birthplace, and selected cultural-calendar traditions
• Current city, coordinates, and time zone when location access is allowed
• Calendar event titles and times when calendar access is allowed
• Notification preferences
• Generated daily readings and app preferences

This information is used to generate app features. Zoraya does not intentionally upload birth-profile details, precise location, or calendar event content to a Zoraya-operated server. Removing the app generally removes locally stored app data, subject to device backup behavior controlled by Apple, Google, or the device owner.

Purchases and subscriptions

Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments. Zoraya does not receive complete card or bank details.

RevenueCat supports subscription status and may process an anonymous app user identifier, product and purchase information, subscription status, platform, app version, and limited device or network diagnostics needed to provide and troubleshoot purchases. RevenueCat, Apple, and Google handle information under their own privacy terms.

Referrals and fraud prevention

If you use Zoraya's referral features, Zoraya may send an anonymous installation identifier, referral code, referral status, subscription verification status, and limited request information such as network address and timing to Zoraya-operated services. This information is used to attribute referrals, prevent duplicate or fraudulent rewards, verify eligibility, and operate the referral program. It is not used to upload your birth profile, precise location, or calendar content.

Location, calendar, and notifications

• Location permission is optional and used to improve local-date, solar, and timing calculations.
• Calendar permission is optional and used to show timing context for selected events.
• Notification permission is optional and used for requested reminders.

You can change these permissions in device settings. Core use remains available with manually entered location information, although some precision or convenience may be reduced.

Sharing

Sharing occurs only after you choose a share action. Shared forecast cards or text can include your first name and a derived reading. Zoraya excludes personal-number lists and calendar or location details from forecast shares. Profile sharing sends promotional text, an optional referral code, and available download links. The receiving social network or messaging service applies its own privacy policy.

Advertising, sale, and tracking

Zoraya does not include third-party advertising and does not sell personal information. Zoraya does not use personal information for cross-app advertising tracking. If these practices change, this policy and applicable store disclosures will be updated before the change is released.

Children

Zoraya is not directed to children under 13. It should not be used by a child where a higher minimum digital-consent age applies without the authorization required by local law.

Retention and deletion

Profile and preference data stored by Zoraya can be removed by deleting or resetting the profile or uninstalling the app. Referral and fraud-prevention records may be retained as reasonably necessary to prevent duplicate rewards, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service. Store and subscription providers may retain transaction records for billing, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, legal compliance, and purchase restoration.

Security

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no device, service, or transmission method is completely secure.

International processing

Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Zoraya-operated hosting providers, and social-sharing services may process information in countries other than your country. Their terms and privacy policies govern their processing.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised for material updates.
